SECURITY OFFICER
Job Description:
Security Officer Job Duties:

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; deterring unauthorized entry.

Obtains help by notifying local law enforcement, paramedics, security dispatch, security supervisor, tow service, etc.

Deters losses and property damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining/arresting trespassers.

Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses.

Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

Maintains security organization's stability and reputation by complying with client and security company policies, procedures, and all laws.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks.
