SECURITY OFFICER

Job Description:

Security Officer Job Duties:

 

  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; deterring unauthorized entry.

 

  • Obtains help by notifying local law enforcement, paramedics, security dispatch, security supervisor, tow service, etc.

 

  • Deters losses and property damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining/arresting trespassers.

 

  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses.

 

  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

 

  • Maintains security organization's stability and reputation by complying with client and security company policies, procedures, and all laws.

 

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks.
